The Eco-Vector Publishing House handles both literary and scientific editing of the authors’ manuscripts. Our team of editors includes professionals with extensive experience in working with scientific texts in various fields, including medicine. We adhere to strict publishing standards for the preparation of scientific texts based on both GOST and international requirements and use the most authoritative data sources in our work.

Design and layout are two essential components of any publication.

Eco-Vector Design team of art editors create the idea and image of the future publication, its style, and individuality, making it appealing to the reader. The layout is a continuation of the design, an embodiment of its results in a graphic form. Our layout (with font highlighting, tables, equations, and illustrations with a caption) makes the text stylish and easy to read.

We design layouts not only for printing but also for online publishing of publication or any other online media. The publishing house publishes and distributes works to a wide range of audiences, including readers of printed publications as well as those who prefer online versions. We develop a publication in all formats required for distribution on the Internet (HTML, ePUB, FB2, and PDF).

Eco-Vector Publishing House handles all kinds of image-related tasks such as drawing of author’s illustrations, color correction, retouching, compositing, scanning, restoration of scanned images, up to creating images according to the instructions (description) of the author. The experienced team involved in the process are art editors, layout designers, designers, and artists. We prepare illustrations, considering the requirements of the WEB environment and contemporary printing technologies.

We use specialized software and technologies that allow not only to display the equations and tables correctly in works on paper but also to index them as a code in an online version such that the works become available for search by equations in search engines and databases.

We provide proofreading of works formatted in electronic form. This proofreading allows a team of highly qualified proofreaders to review and proofread the publications in the shortest possible time while ensuring the high quality of the publication.

We make every effort to distribute the works of authors to the audience around the world. There are two ways for a work to expand beyond the Russian audience:

• indexing in international databases of scientific literature; therefore, the publication only requires an English-language description (title, abstract, and information about authors and publisher) and formal attributes (International Standard Book Number (ISBN), DOI)

• complete translation of the publication into a foreign language and release of the translated version of the work.

Eco-Vector Publishing House handles professional translation of scientific works into foreign languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, etc.). We use a two-stage translation system, which includes the following steps:

• primary translation of the text from Russian into English with the involvement of professional translators with at least five years of work experience;

• proofreading of English texts with the involvement of native-speaking professional editors of scientific literature in the relevant field of knowledge.

ISBN is a unique identification number of the publication. The ISBN system was created such that every book published in the world can be exclusively identified by assigning a unique code to it, consisting of 13 digits (10 digits until 2007) grouped specifically and separated by hyphens. ISBN is a kind of “publication passport,” which must sell and register a publication in any book information system. The same ISBN may not belong to different titles.

Therefore, at Eco-Vector Publishing House, the inclusion of the ISBN in the publisher’s imprint of the work is mandatory in the release of all non-periodicals.

Eco-Vector Publishing House is an official member of the Publishers International Linking Association, which operates under the Crossref brand. When publishing an online version of a work, we must assign DOI, thereby implementing the possibility of its international indexing (in addition to the ISBN). Assigning DOI to non-periodical publications allows the reader to switch to the official page of the work on the Internet from anywhere in the world becuase unlike ISBN, DOI is always linked to a specific URL.

The assignment of DOI to non-periodical publications also allows them to be included in the authors’ profiles on the ORCiD and Publons platforms as well as is a requirement for the inclusion of works in the scientometric SCOPUS and Web of Science databases.

DOI is assigned to individual elements of the works such as chapters, images, and equations on request.

Eco-Vector Publishing House arranges metadata in the form of full bibliographic descriptions in Russian and/or English, which includes authors’ affiliations, keywords, and abstracts.

We handle high-quality printing of publications as well as stitching, casework, and preparation for handover to the customer. We use both digital and offset printing on modern printing equipment. We are also prepared to replicate the previously published works (reprint).

We distribute publications through book houses (Moscow and St. Petersburg), bookstores in Russian cities, an online store of the Eco-Vector Publishing House, Biblio-Globus, Book Center in St. Petersburg, directly to universities’ libraries, and at specialized conferences.

We advertise publishers’ work on our website (https://eco-vector.com, https://school.ecovector-academy.com/, https://books.eco-vector.com, publisher’s branches in social media pages, etc.), at events (SciCraftc, Science Editor’s School, etc.), and through partners information resources.

In compliance with the REQUIREMENTS of the legislation of the Russian Federation, we deliver obligatory copies of publications to the Russian Book Chamber (16 copies) and the Rospechat agency (1 copy).
